Vestibular Disease is defined as a disturbance to the sense of balance.
What are the Symptoms of Vestibular Disease?
The symptoms of Vestibular Disease can come on suddenly and can include:
- A clear lack of balance
- An inability to stay standing up
- General disorientation
- Turning in circles
- An unusual tilt to the head and more.
If you see any of these symptoms in your pet, take them to the vet right away, because they are also characteristic of Stroke and Cancer.

Vestibular Disease is caused by:
- Genetics
- Old Age
- Ear Infections
- Thyroid disease
- Trauma to the ear
- Trauma to the head
- Stress
- Inflammation
